Wauwepex Society 2nd Annual Car Show 9/6/08
The Second Annual Wauwepex Society muscle and classic car show will take place Saturday September 6th at Schiff Scout Reservation, rain date Sunday September 7th. This show is a fundraiser for the Boy Scouts of America, Theodore Roosevelt Council. All proceeds go back to the camp to help maintain it for the boys. There will be vendors, a DJ, food, raffles, goodie bags and plenty of parking in a beautiful camp setting. The first 150 registered cars receive a jacket patch. The Wauwepex Society at Schiff Scout Reservation was established October 19th,2005 to promote the aims and methods of Boy Scout Camping through:
- Financial support to the camp endowment for programs and capital projects benefiting the camp.
- Social opportunities for members, who are former campers, scouters, parents, staff, and individuals who support Schiff Scout Reservation;.
- Participation of members in camp work week ends to improve camp facilities and programs.
